Why this blog exists

This blog is meant to promote healthy spiritual hearts, minds, and souls. It’s also to care for the earth God gave us. Now I’m gonna write down each category of the blog and describe it further.

Heart-This portion of the blog will be there to stimulate our growth and a relationship with our God, through Jesus the promised Messiah, with short portions of scripture and comments.

Mind-This portion of the blog will be dedicated to stimulating our minds with poems, witty sayings, and maybe some puzzles.

Soul-This portion of the blog will stimulate healthy eating, with recipes and to introduce people to organic foods and all-natural remedies.

The Earth God Gave Us-This portion of the blog will encourage people to recycle, use more green technologies, and eco-friendly products, because God gave us this earth to take care of it. We need to be careful to worship the creator and not the creation. This will blog will not promote the hugging of trees.

8.4 Earth - Follow the LED lights

Have you ever thought about using LED lights? They’re much brighter and last longer and best of all use less energy. They’re starting to use them in computers and TVs. Check out this video on how they work.

8.2 Mind - Proverbs 8

Proverbs 8

Wisdom’s Call
1 Does not wisdom call out?
Does not understanding raise her voice?
2 At the highest point along the way,
where the paths meet, she takes her stand;
3 beside the gate leading into the city,
at the entrance, she cries aloud:
7 My mouth speaks what is true,
for my lips detest wickedness.
8 All the words of my mouth are just;
none of them is crooked or perverse.
9 To the discerning all of them are right;
they are upright to those who have found knowledge.
10 Choose my instruction instead of silver,
knowledge rather than choice gold,
11 for wisdom is more precious than rubies,
and nothing you desire can compare with her.
12 “I, wisdom, dwell together with prudence;
I possess knowledge and discretion.
13 To fear the LORD is to hate evil;
I hate pride and arrogance,
evil behavior and perverse speech.
14 Counsel and sound judgment are mine;
I have insight, I have power.
15 By me kings reign
and rulers issue decrees that are just;
16 by me princes govern,
and nobles—all who rule on earth.
22 “The LORD brought me forth as the first of his works,
before his deeds of old;
23 I was formed long ages ago,
at the very beginning, when the world came to be.
24 When there were no watery depths, I was given birth,
when there were no springs overflowing with water;
25 before the mountains were settled in place,
before the hills, I was given birth,
26 before he made the world or its fields
or any of the dust of the earth.
27 I was there when he set the heavens in place,
when he marked out the horizon on the face of the deep,
28 when he established the clouds above
and fixed securely the fountains of the deep,
29 when he gave the sea its boundary
so the waters would not overstep his command,
and when he marked out the foundations of the earth.
30 Then I was constantly at his side.
I was filled with delight day after day,
rejoicing always in his presence,
31 rejoicing in his whole world
and delighting in mankind.
32 “Now then, my children, listen to me;
blessed are those who keep my ways.
33 Listen to my instruction and be wise;
do not disregard it.
34 Blessed are those who listen to me,
watching daily at my doors,
waiting at my doorway.
35 For those who find me find life
and receive favor from the LORD.
36 But those who fail to find me harm themselves;
all who hate me love death.”

8.1 Heart - Amazing Grace

On this post, I’d like to talk a little bit about grace and what it actually is. Grace is something that only comes from God. He gave us the gift of salvation, which was something we didn’t deserve. We can’t work for it, because it is a gift. Jesus died on a cross and bore the penalty of sin for all of us, but didn’t stop there. He rose from the dead and showed God is above even death. He’s the promised Messiah of the Jewish nation and entire globe. When Adam and Eve were duped by Satan, man was cursed because they defied God and listened to God’s enemy and ate of the Tree of Knowledge of Good & Evil. God eventually gave the Torah which contained God’s laws for living to man. But in and of ourselves, there is no way to carry out God’s laws flawlessly. But Jesus did. He was a pure and spotless lamb. He never sinned once. He fulfilled and completed the law for us. He lets us take His righteousness. So we could be forgiven, my Jewish brothers and sisters. If you accept Yeshua (Jesus) as the Messiah, you will still be Jewish. You will start to see Jesus as a fulfillment of Passover and a lot of God’s appointed feasts, because it’s not by the law, but by the grace, which comes from the Messiah.

Jews and Gentiles are coming to the Lord everyday, more and more, everyday. That’s awesome because that fulfills this scripture I’m about to give you right here.

Zechariah 12:
10 “And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son.
You may ask, “How does this fulfill?” Because people are discovering the grace that is in a relationship with the promised Messiah of God. So, right now, take the time to accept that Jesus is the son of God and that He died for you and loves you. Tell Him you want to be forgiven of your sins and give your entire life over to Him. Tell Him you want Him to lead you by His Holy Spirit, to help you get through life, the good and the bad.

And I’ll leave you with this last scripture.

Ephesians 2

Made Alive in Christ
1 As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. 3 All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh[a] and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. 4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. 6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
