Why this blog exists

This blog is meant to promote healthy spiritual hearts, minds, and souls. It’s also to care for the earth God gave us. Now I’m gonna write down each category of the blog and describe it further.

Heart-This portion of the blog will be there to stimulate our growth and a relationship with our God, through Jesus the promised Messiah, with short portions of scripture and comments.

Mind-This portion of the blog will be dedicated to stimulating our minds with poems, witty sayings, and maybe some puzzles.

Soul-This portion of the blog will stimulate healthy eating, with recipes and to introduce people to organic foods and all-natural remedies.

The Earth God Gave Us-This portion of the blog will encourage people to recycle, use more green technologies, and eco-friendly products, because God gave us this earth to take care of it. We need to be careful to worship the creator and not the creation. This will blog will not promote the hugging of trees.

7.1 Heart - Small is big and big is small

Matthew 14:13-21

Jesus Feeds the Five Thousand

13 When Jesus heard what had happened, he withdrew by boat privately to a solitary place. Hearing of this, the crowds followed him on foot from the towns. 14 When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them and healed their sick.
15 As evening approached, the disciples came to him and said, “This is a remote place, and it’s already getting late. Send the crowds away, so they can go to the villages and buy themselves some food.”
16 Jesus replied, “They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.”
17 “We have here only five loaves of bread and two fish,” they answered.
18 “Bring them here to me,” he said. 19 And he directed the people to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people.20 They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. 21 The number of those who ate was about five thousand men, besides women and children.

In the portion of scripture above, we read where Jesus did a miracle using a little bit of bread and fish. In the natural, there was no way that was gonna feed all the people. But when God get's involved, a little goes an extremely long way. I don't know why the Lord uses little things to do great big things. And the Lord does it with our bodies and our emotions as well. The Lord gave me an example of this in my life last night and today. See, I'm in a wheelchair and my body is really sensitive. If I don't sleep well, it really messes me up. And even more so when the next day is the day I take a shower, it really wears me out. And last night, I only got about 2 hours sleep. It was really uncomfortable. I usually sleep 12 hours. In my mind, I really wanted to freak out. But then I said, "No. Lord, I'll trust you." And now here I am blogging and I feel like I got my usual amount of sleep. See, the Lord will take a little and make it go a long way. He will do the same for you today and forevermore. If you don't know the Lord, turn to the Lord, and let Him turn your little into a lot. And if you do know Him and you're in a tough situation, call out to Him. The Lord will always give you just what you need. It may not be easy, but He is right there, and He will come to you if you ask Him to. If anxiety and fear try to creep up, ask The Lord, Yeshua (Jesus in Hebrew), to give you His peace that is beyond all understanding. He is the Prince of Peace. He is peace itself. He Himself is peace. We as humans hate to admit that we are weak, but we are. When we try to live our lives without God, We become blind, pitiful and naked. So when we trust the Lord, the little we have, will go a long way. I'm going to give you some more examples from scripture, of God taking little weak things and use them to do mighty works.

1 Corinthians 1:18-31

Christ Crucified Is God’s Power and Wisdom

18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 19 For it is written:
“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise;
the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.”
20 Where is the wise person? Where is the teacher of the law? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? 21 For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe. 22 Jews demand signs and Greeks look for wisdom, 23 but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, 24 but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. 25 For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength.
26 Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. 27 But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. 28 God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, 29 so that no one may boast before him. 30 It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. 31 Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.”

So you never know what the Lord’s gonna do. But it’s always for the good, for those who love him. So, I’ll leave you with this scripture. God bless.

1 Corinthians 2:9

However, as it is written:
“What no eye has seen,
what no ear has heard,
and what no human mind has conceived”—
the things God has prepared for those who love him—
